Recently, our team had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with Gleaners at the FREC 2 Mobile Pantry, an experience that left a lasting impact on us all. From setting up the event to personally delivering bags of food to those in need, here's a glimpse into our day of service and how you can join us in making a difference.
A Day of Giving Back
As advocates for community engagement and social responsibility, we jumped at the chance to lend a helping hand at the FREC 2 Mobile Pantry. The event, organized by Gleaners, aimed to provide essential food assistance to families facing food insecurity in our community. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and gratitude, knowing that our efforts would make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Setting Up for Success
The day began with the task of setting up the mobile pantry, transforming the parking lot of FREC 2 into a bustling hub of activity. With efficiency and teamwork, we unloaded crates of fresh produce, canned goods, and other pantry staples, meticulously arranging them into organized stations. Every detail mattered, from ensuring proper signage to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Packing Hope into Every Bag
As the event kicked off, we eagerly took our positions at the packing stations, filling bags with an assortment of nutritious items. From fruits and vegetables to grains and proteins, each bag was carefully curated to provide a balanced and wholesome meal for those in need.
